A Tucson native, Kirsten Long began her career at the age of 12 teaching dance for the Tucson Unified School District, taught at studios throughout the NYC metropolitan area, and developed & directed Movement Longevity in New Mexico.  Having danced with the Metropolitan Opera Ballet at Lincoln Center, Manhattan Festival Ballet, New York Theater Ballet and Garden State Ballet, among others, she toured with the show Pierrot & Pirouette, danced at Madison Square Garden with Syzokryli, performed a solo piece created on her by Ana Sokolow, played the role as The Girl In Lavender in Yes Virginia Another Piano Ballet on PBS Television, member of Los Angeles and San Francisco theater companies – winning a best Actress award for her role as Bunny in The Future Of The Female, and has appeared in various films.  Kirsten is moving to Phoenix and will be teaching for danceAZ through Ballet Arizona and with Evolution Dance Center, thrilled to participate in this year’s Fusion Talent Showcase Ms. Long can’t wait to see the talent abound on the stage!
